This is my portrait of The Deltic Engine Driver at the North Yorkshire Moors Railway Diesel Gala Weekend, it’s a weekend full of characters and trainspotter types rubbing shoulders with holiday makers! The Deltic was the main east coast intercity engine for twenty years before the High Speed Trains (HST) replaced it in the 1980’s. I wanted to capture his intensity, most of the time he wore a smiley face for all the tourist snappers, but with a little patience I captured him in with an intense mood and great lighting -I’m really chuffed with his portrait. Enjoy, Harry.

I photographed the marketing pdf and brochure for Project Latin in The City of London. The light proved really difficult and I tried a few times over the day, to get this cover shot. Late in the day thought, the light became glorious with sin skimming down the main front side and reflecting back onto the darker narrow right side with a dabbled sparkle. I was really pleased in the end! I’ve attached the full pdf showing my complete shoot from the day. Cheers, H
Whilst shooting for an office development in Hull, my brief included capturing some iconic scenes of Hull. Anyway, this full moon ascended over the deep and it took a while to seek out the optimum long lens angle to compress the depth in this image. My client loved it. H.
This is the first building on Logic Park Distribution Centre in Leeds, I was asked to create images of the new build before the tenant moved in. I used the colour of the sky to wash/reflect over the building and worked on the bright sun reflection and shading to create this graphic clean image. I really enjoyed the results. Harry.
James Dipple, CEO of MEPC wanted his new oppointment portrait outside their new building, 10 Wellington Place in Leeds. He was impressed by the sharp triangular corner of the architectural design which inspired me for his portrait. The sun was nearly behind him but with creative use of reflectors we got a powerful portrait. He loved it! Harry.
I’m really pleased with this years crop of work. There has been a great selection of projects including fashion, products, property and many more. I’ve uploaded a few Brochure PDF’s to my Issuu.com site and will keep archiving as they come in. It’s a great way to see my published body of work now and in the future. Please take a look at what appeals to you, the 2013 Triumph, Tottie AW13 and Caldene Posters are my particular favourites. Just click on a thumbnail, cheers, Harry
It was a last minute call to get these snappy style images done in time for a viral campaign for this festive season. We hired a nightclub, drafted in real office workers and snapped the day away. It was full on – but good fun. Take a look at the first here. H
